Zumba classes at Lakewood Community Center

Zumba Fitness Classes will be offered at the Lakewood Community Center, 9112 Lakewood Drive SW, Lakewood, on Monday & Wednesday evenings (7:15-8:15pm) starting January 2, 2013. Call Pierce County Parks and Recreation at 253-798-4177 to get information on class rates and registration.

A special 4 week session “Getting Started With Zumba Fitness” will be offered in January and February for those who have always wanted to give Zumba Fitness a try. The instructor will take extra time to break down the steps. This class is offered on Wednesdays 5:30-6:10 pm at the Lakewood Community Center.

Zumba(R) Toning combines the fun dance steps of Zumba(R) Fitness and strength training for a low- impact fitness class. Offered on Wednesdays 6:15-7:00 pm. This class is a great combination when followed by Zumba(R) Fitness (cardio) 7:15-8:15 pm.
