Wilhelm to sign ‘No Assembly Required’
There is no better time to share great holiday ideas for decorating and cooking and how to get cat urine out of luggage – seasonal things like that. You don’t get that sort of information every day, but now with Dorothy Wilhelm’s new palm sized teeny tiny book, No Assembly Required (Nautilus Press distributed by Partners West), it’s right there on page 51 – right between how to make a facial out of cucumbers (page 56) and how to make a purse from an old bra cup (page 51).
Things everyone has been dying to know. The book has very large print and is easy to carry in pocket or purse, and no one will steal it, as they might a kindle. In between the tips are humorous excerpts from Dorothy’s columns. She has been a columnist for The News Tribune for the past two decades. Dorothy was Kiro’s Creative Living Expert for ten years, and hosted My Home Town on Comcast for twenty years. She also gives keynotes on how to get more fun out of life. When she’s not doing that, she’s busy getting more fun out of life. She walks her talk.
Readers can find how to find their laughing place (page 9) How to keep their brains vibrant and alive forever. Dorothy knows, she’s 79 (page 26) What to do with leftover coffee (page 62) Quick decorating and what to do after you’ve sprayed everything gold (page 72) Quick festive ideas (page 87).
Dorothy will be signing her book, and giving away free red noses and humor tips at Bartells in University Place on December 12 and 17 from 11:00 to 3:00.
