Two C-17s depart for hurricane relief efforts

JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. – Two McChord Field C-17 Globemaster III’s and their crews departed Tuesday morning (Nov. 6) in support of continued Hurricane Sandy response operations. McChord Field Airmen will be flying to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, to drop-off Bonneville Power Administration passengers, equipment and supplies supporting relief efforts on the East Coast.
