U.P. Lions Club

The University Place Lions Club is part of the world wide service organization, Lions International. Locally they work with the UP school district to provide glasses to students that can’t afford them, and Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets to needy families. They also provide scholarships to graduating Curtis HS students and is a community oriented volunteer service organization helping our community. The UP Lions collect used eye glasses to be graded and recycled to medical missions in third world countries. Please come join them in service to your community. They meet the second and third Tuesdays of the month at Merrill Gardens (7920 Rosemont Circle, Tacoma, WA).
