Lincoln lecture at PLU Feb. 19
By Laura Stewart
Our 16th President had an abiding interest in the development of the western territories. He appointed competent (and sometimes colorful) leaders to govern the affairs of Washington Territory.
In honor of President Lincoln’s birth, Retired Chief Justice Gerry Alexander will present a lecture to Learning Is ForEver. Please feel welcomed to join us on Tuesday, February 19th from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Garfield Book Company at PLU. Learning Is ForEver is a non-profit organization. We ask $10.00 per person to cover our expenses, which may be paid at the door. More information may be found at our website www.plu.edu/lifeelderhostel
