Lakewood: Car crashes into Queens Closet

LAKEWOOD, Wash. – At approximately 4:10 pm Thursday, West Pierce Firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle crashing into the Queens Closet clothing store located at 9616 40th Ave SW.  Firefighters quickly arrived to find a vehicle driven by an elderly male, had crashed into the building. Two families were in the store at the time. One person was transported to an area hospital due to a possible broken leg and four patients were transported due to various other injuries. UPDATE: Lakewood-JBLM Patch reported five people were sent to the hospital.
