First Soldiers from 2-2 SBCT to Arrive from Afghanistan

JOINT BASE LEWIS-McCHORD, Wash. – The first group of Soldiers from 2-2 Stryker Brigade Combat Team will be arriving on Tuesday, December 4 at 7:30 AM. 2nd Stryker Brigade has been deployed in Afghanistan for almost one year.

This advance group of Soldiers will be working with the rear detachment to help prepare for the homecoming of the main body of Soldiers, due to arrive in late December and early January. The family members and friends of returning Soldiers will be waiting in Wilson Gym for their loved ones to return.
