A Salute to Veterans
Lake City Community Church will host A Salute to Veterans breakfast on Saturday, November 10 and Sunday, November 11. The featured speaker will be Major Daniel M. Gade.
“As a Tank Company Commander in Iraq in 2004 and 2005, Dan was decorated for Valor and wounded in action twice. The second wounding resulted in the loss of his right leg and other extensive wounds. Despite his disability, Dan remains on active duty in the US Army, is an accomplished ParaTriathlete, assistant Professor at West Point and inspires young men and women for lives of, ‘Doing the Hard Right over the Easy Wrong.’”
A Men’s Breakfast will be held Saturday, Nov. 10 at 8:30 AM (Please RSVP). Worship Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 10 at 6 PM and Sunday, Nov. 11 at 9:00 & 10:50 AM. Lake City Community Church is located at 8810 Lawndale Ave SW, Lakewood, WA. 253-582-8040.
