All I Want for Christmas is a Job

People will learn specialized job-finding skills during free workshops at Pierce County Library System. Participants will pick up tips and techniques to maximize their chances of success in landing a temporary or seasonal job in time for the holidays in the class, All I Want for Christmas is a Job.

  • Gig Harbor Pierce County Library, 4424 Point Fosdick Drive N.W., Monday, Nov. 7, 2 – 4 p.m.
  • Lakewood Pierce County Library, 6300 Wildaire Road S.W., Thursday, Nov. 3, 2 – 4 p.m.
  • Parkland/Spanaway Pierce County Library, 13718 Pacific Ave. S., Tuesday, Nov. 22, 10 a.m. – noon
  • South Hill Pierce County Library, 15420 Meridian E., Tuesday, Nov. 15, 4 – 6 p.m.
  • Sumner Pierce County Library, 1116 Fryar Ave., Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2 – 4 p.m.
  • University Place Pierce County Library, 3609 Market Place W., Monday, Nov. 28, 4 – 6 p.m.

Workshop instructor Susanne Boone has been a job developer for WorkForce Central and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, and a career counselor for Clover Park Technical College.
