Mr. Ian Home has been named the principal at St. Frances Cabrini for the 2011-12 school year. Ian is the first male principal Cabrini school has ever had in our 58 year history! He is a Gig Harbor native, graduating from Peninsula High school in 1994. He earned his B.A. in History from Western Washington University in 1998.  After working as a substitute teacher in the Peninsula School District, Mr. Home earned his Master’s in Teaching Degree from City University in 2000.  He taught at Purdy Elementary School from 2000 to 2005 in grades 3 and 4 and in the Learning Assistance Program.  After earning his Principal Credentials from City University, he spent a year as Assistant Principal at Chautauqua Elementary School on Vashon Island.   He comes to St. Frances Cabrini from St Nicholas School in Gig Harbor where he served as Vice Principal and 5th grade teacher since 2006.

Ian is an amateur farmer who loves sports, gardening, camping, singing and spending time with his family, wife Anna-sara and their 3 daughters, Eleanor (9), Molly (7) and Josie (5). We are so pleased to welcome Ian and pray God blesses his ministry at St Frances Cabrini with many years of success and growth.
