Teachers go back to school, too!

Secondary educators from Steilacoom Historical School District's Steilacoom High School and Pioneer Middle School attend classes at Pioneer focusing on Response to Intervention (RtI). The presentation made by Wayne Callender of Partners for Learning addressed how secondary teachers can assist students master material that they may have missed or not understood when originally presented. The model uses a team approach for supporting student with academic issues.
