KIRO 7 News Anchor Angela Russell to emcee WWEE breakfast
Posted on August 31, 2010Angela Russell, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News anchor, will serve as master of ceremonies Sept. 15 for Wake up with WWEE – Images of Change, the annual benefit breakfast supporting Washington Women's Employment & Education (WWEE).
Ms. Russell first volunteered as annual breakfast emcee a year ago to help WWEE, the Tacoma-based nonprofit which transforms lives by putting low-income people on paths to sustainable employment.
Everyone is invited to the hour-long event, beginning at 7:30 a.m. at the Hotel Murano Bicentennial Pavilion, 1320 Broadway Plaza, Tacoma. This is a chance for donors to meet, congratulate and be inspired by WWEE graduates who attest to the worth of WWEE’s job skills and confidence-building programs.
The breakfast is free, with a suggested minimum donation of $100. Parking is available on site. Please reserve your seat by calling 253-590-0657 or email rsvp@wwee.org.
The Boeing Co. is sponsoring the event, with support from Weyerhaeuser and others. To learn more about the program, go to www.wwee.org.
