Portland visitor finds a lot to like in the area
Posted on August 19, 2010OregonLive.com writer Jim Moore likes the area. As luck would have it, he came from Portland to play a round of golf at Chambers Bay, and while here, found out about Thornewood Castle, Lakewold Gardens, a young city and a tasty diner called MoonRise Cafe. If is refreshing to read an outsiders view of our hometown. [Thanks to Lakewood's Dave Betz for pointing this out].
