Saudia Heard is fast
Posted on August 3, 2010Parklodge student, Saudia Heard is fast. The Lakewood 10-year-old competes for Tacoma's 1911 Track Club in the 400- and 200-meter sprints and long jump. Saudia recently placed first in the 400-meter and long jump, and second in the 200-meter at the AAU Western Championship in Reno, Nevada; and placed first in the 400-meter and 200-meter sprints at the Hershey's Track & Field Games qualifier. Saudia will run in the 400-meter sprint at August 7 Hershey's Track & Field North American Final in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Saudia is one of 400 9-14 year-olds nationwide to compete. Keep a sharp eye out for this speedster.

Saudia went to Hershey,PA on 8/7/2010 and won the GOLD MEDAL IN THE 400M! She was the only one on the Pac.NW team to bring home a gold medal! Great job Saudia!
