Seeking information on Fort Steilacoom Golf Course

Posted on July 26, 2010

Forrest Richardson, a golf course architect from Phoenix, Arizona recently contacted The Suburban Times seeking information on Fort Steilacoom Golf Course. Specifically, he is wondering about The Suburban Times archives hoping they will illuminate who designed the course and did it ever go by another name? His records show it was built in 1961 but none of his sources can identify the architect. I informed him that archives of The Suburban Times are on loan to the Lakewood Historical Society. Does anyone know? If so, you can reach Mr. Richardson (email) at 602-906-1818. Feel free to email the information to me, so I can share it will fellow readers.
