Dance Theatre Northwest to host auction, dinner

Dance Theatre Northwest’s Gala Auction & Dinner, Hollywood Party is slated for July 31, 2010, at Charles Wright Academy with a champagne reception beginning at 5 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. Silent and live auction items will be offered. Tickets are $50 each or $350 for a table seating 8. Sponsorships are available. Order tickets online or call 253-778-6534.
Proceeds will allow DANCE THEATRE NORTHWEST to increase community outreach through “Art Inspires Art” performances in area retirement homes & community venues. Funds will also help provide “Arts Are Education” performances in area schools; to provide low cost & free tickets to DTN’s formal performances; to help pay guest & artist fees; to provide formal concerts; to perform at fairs and festivals on outdoor stages; to fund dance scholarships and internships; increase youth development in a drug & alcohol free activity and continue to provide excellent role models for our youth. Our dance programs teach discipline and each student in earning better grades, with enhanced fitness and mental growth.
Items for both live and silent auction, advertising and event sponsorships are still being sought. Special thanks to STAR Physical Therapy for being our first auction sponsor.
Dance Theatre Northwest is a 501-(C)-3 Non-Profit Organization. Our goal is to provide American contemporary and classical dance and ballet-based dance education; to maintain artistic integrity; and to offer the community an opportunity to experience dance as an important art form.
