Letter: Cherrydale Woods public hearing
Posted on July 12, 2010The Friends of Cherrydale Woods are presenting a request for Parcels A & B of the Cherrydale School Surplus Wooded Areas to be purchased by the Pierce County Conservation Futures Board for Permanent Preservation. A Public Hearing at the Lakewood Community Center (9112 Lakewood Dr SW, Room 203) will be held Tuesday, July 13 from 7-8 pm.
Help save Cherrydale Woods for the Children and the Community by being at this hearing to raise your hand in support of saving the Woods!
The trees around the Nature Trail at Steilacoom's Cherrydale School help our children learn about nature of wildlife, trees and plants plus good stewardship of the environment! These forests provide shelter and food for the wildlife and public access trails for exercise and nature lovers.
