Free Curran Apple Orchard Concert
Posted on July 5, 2010Grab your blankets and lawn chairs – it's concert season at the Curran Apple Orchard Park! Mark your calendar for the FREE concerts which occur on the following Thursdays from 6:30 pm to 8 pm at the orchard:
- July 8 – Washington National Guard 133rd Army Band (Patriotic/popular music)
- July 22 – Fingertips (Motown/Funky Blues)
- August 12 – The Dead Edsels (Rock and Roll)
Concertgoers can bring picnics or purchase food from the UP Kiwanis. Special thanks to long time sponsor Columbia Bank for underwriting this year's series. Also, thanks to CLICK! Cable TV, CORE (Curran Orchard Resource Enthusiasts) and Jobbertown Media for their support.
The Curran orchard is located at 3920 Grandview Drive West. In case of inclement weather, the concerts will be relocated to Curtis High School Cafeteria, 8425 40th St. West.
