3-on-3 basketball tournament
Posted on June 23, 2010The Seattle Storm is sponsoring a 3-on-3 basketball tournament Saturday, June 26, at SummerFEST for kids ages 10 – 15, as well as all adults, and the championship games will be played before a Seattle Storm home game at KeyArena. Registration is FREE for all teams that participate and the first games will begin at noon.
Adult teams making it to the championship game will receive two hotel accommodations for one night, four tickets to a Seattle Storm home game and dinner at KeyArena. The youth category championship games will be played at the conclusion of the Seattle Storm home game on Tuesday, July 6, beginning at noon, and the champions will receive eight suite tickets to the same game.
SummerFEST is a FREE, fun, family event presented by the City of Lakewood, June 25 – 27 at Fort Steilacoom Park. Admission for all three days of SummerFEST is free. The main event is Saturday, June 26, starting at noon, and includes special appearances by the Seahawks, SeaGals, Sounders, a car show, remote control boat races, a motorcycle rally, an Army Strong fitness expo, KIDZ Zone ($5) which includes a petting zoo, a movie, Planet 51 (rated PG) at dusk presented by Comcast, as well as over 150 food and art vendors.
