Carolyn is a graduate of University of Houston, with a BS in Applied Mathematics. She has been a business woman and entrepreneur. Although her background is analytical and scientific she easily bridges the gap between science and the esoteric.
For over 18 years Carolyn has practiced with several Asian teachers and has traveled to China three times. She has practiced and taught Tai Chi, Chi Gong, various forms of sitting meditation, written articles given talks and held seminars. Carolyn began practicing Walking Meditation, which is an Awareness (mindfulness) based meditation, in 2000. As she began to practice, she found it to be practical, easy and, yet, had the most profound impact on her health, vitality and overall well being.
Carolyn has accumulated thousands of hours practicing Walking Meditation. As a result of her direct, personal experience she became convinced of it’s profound benefits to the body mind and spirit and she hopes to inspire others to learn Walking Meditation as a holistic approach to living life more fully in the present moment, become more relaxed, peaceful, healthier and filled with vitality.
