Letter: Check out a great website
Posted on May 27, 2010This site (www.freerice.com) is absolutely wonderful. Kids, adults and elders can play and learn together while donating grains of rice to feed the world's hungry. I'm hoping every school in the area will make a big deal of it to get their kids playing online, having class competitions, and even school-wide competitions. It's like CPSD's math relays, but on numerous subjects right at home, such as geography, vocabulary, foreign languages, grammar, world capitals, math and more. There's something for everyone about third grade or older, or even for some younger students. Check it out!
