It's (almost) June…and you know what that means! Several Steilacoom High School school year-end activities you won't want to miss!

On Tuesday, June 1, the high school jazz band and choir host their traditional Jazz Night/dinner in the Commons: “A Night in Memphis” Doors open at 5:30 for the dinner that begins at 6 p.m.

Tickets, available at the door, are $15 for adults, and $12 for youngsters under 12.

Plan now to attend and enjoy the swinging sounds of these smooth entertainers, invites Joe Lindquist, choral director and Bruce Folmer, band director.

But wait! There’s more!

On June 2 at 7 p.m. the high school will host the Traditional Senior Awards Night.

Scheduled in the SHS Gym, the event will honor scholarship winners from the Class of 2010.

Remember, Graduation Day is June 12 at 1 p.m. at Olson Auditorium at Pacific Lutheran University.

One thing more! At 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 3 at Pioneer Orchard Park in Steilacoom, the SHS concert choir and symphonic orchestra present its annual Music in the Park performance.

Bring a blanket, chairs, a picnic—and settle in to enjoy this entertaining outdoor concert, overlooking Puget Sound.
