Are you interested in enrolling your student at Harrison Preparatory? Have you heard about the school but don’t know if it is for your child? Harrison accepts students in 6-12 grade who are interested in a rigorous curriculum, can meet high expectations, and want to go to college. Harrison is also an International Baccalaureate Candidate School, which is all-inclusive, works on inter-disciplinary units, focuses on the whole student and emphasizes inter-cultural awareness and communication. Bus transportation is provided for students in the Clover Park School District.
Harrison also has fun, with after-school inter-mural sports and clubs, such as Hip-Hop Dance, Drama, Art Guild, Ultimate Frisbee, Football, Basketball, and Running.. HP has dances, an active ASB, NHS and JNHS. Our students participate in Knowledge Bowl, Yearbook, and the Spelling Bee; and can be in sports teams at their home schools.
Harrison Prep is hosting their Orientation for the 2010-2011 school year on Tuesday, March 23 at 6:00 p.m. at the school, 8800 121st ST SW, Lakewood. All the information you need will be provided, and refreshments too. You may fill out enrollment forms that evening. You may want to bring a report card, immunization records, and copies of any IEPs or 504 plans if you intend to enroll that evening. For more information, call Harrison Prep at 583-5418.
