Wards Lake Park Neighborhood Forum scheduled
Posted on March 11, 2010The City of Lakewood Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department will hold a Wards Lake Park Neighborhood Forum on Thursday, March 18, 2010, from 6-8 p.m. in Lakewood City Hall at 6000 Main Street SW in Lakewood. Bring your ideas for the future of this park facility as the Second Wards Lake Park Master Plan is developed. Every idea is welcome – use your imagination – how would you like this park used and enjoyed? Wards Lake Park is located at 2716-84th Avenue in Lakewood and includes both developed and natural areas within its 22 acres. In 2009, additional park property was purchased by the City to expand the facility. What would you like to see there? Please join us Thursday, March 18th so we can hear your ideas.
