Shop and save on books and more at Pierce County Library System
Posted on March 3, 2010People will find great buys and help support library services during upcoming used book sales. Friends of the Libraries will host the events at four Pierce County Library System locations.
- Bonney Lake Pierce County Library, 18501 90th St. E., Saturday, April 10, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Lakewood Pierce County Library, 6300 Wildaire Road S.W., Friday, March 19 and Saturday, March 20, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Sumner Pierce County Library, 1116 Fryar Ave., Saturday, March 20, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday, March 21, 1 – 4 p.m.
- University Place Pierce County Library, 7315 27th St. W., Saturday, March 6, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Sales at all locations will offer a great variety of materials for all ages and interests, including hardback and paperback fiction and nonfiction, children’s books, cookbooks, reference books, audiobooks, music and movies.
Residents donated used books, CDs, tapes and DVDs for the sale. Funds from the book sales will help the Friends sponsor programs for children and adults as well as furnishings and other needs at the libraries.
