Community 1st breaks ground in DuPont
Posted by · March 2, 2010DuPont, WA – Community 1st Credit Union has begun construction on its new headquarters building on Ross Loop in DuPont. The state-of-the-art facility is approximately 17,000 square feet and will house the administrative staff and management team and a new branch location. The branch will feature a walk-up ATM on Ross Loop, drive-up lanes, a drive-up ATM and Saturday hours.
Founded in 1925, Community 1st Credit Union is the first and oldest credit union in Washington State. Originally, Seattle Postal Employees Credit Union, Community 1st now offers membership to anyone who lives, works or worships in Washington State, and the management team and staff members are anxious to serve DuPont and the surrounding communities! The credit union is pleased that it can provide the businesses in this area a new alternative for business-related banking.
Community 1st is active in the communities that it serves, and will be intricately involved in DuPont’s growing commerce.
