Special Election early returns

Pierce County patted itself on its back in a press release sent Tuesday night. From the release: “Pierce County posted its initial release of election results at 8:07 p.m. this evening, about 45 minutes earlier than the first release of results in November 2009. With a few minor procedural changes, Pierce County can shave approximately 30 minutes off the average time that it has historically taken to release election results.”
