WILLIAM PETER BRADY was born August 1, 1950 in Hempstead, NY to William Arthur Brady & Iris Brady. He passed away on January 28th, 2010, after a short and courageous battle with cancer. Growing up in a military family, Bill lived in many different countries and graduated from Lakenheath American High School, England in 1968. After attending 1 1/2 years of college at Colorado State College, Greeley, CO, he enlisted in the Navy from 1970 - 1976. He spent 2 years at CWU prior to beginning his career with the US Postal Service in 1980. Bill was very proud of his Irish heritage and will be missed by the many family members in Ireland that he was able to visit last May. Bill loved all sports, and was referred to as a "Walking Sports Encyclopedia". He especially enjoyed watching the Mariners and Boston Red Sox. He played golf and was nicknamed "Iron Billy" by his friends at Allenmore Golf Course. Bill also spent many years bowling with his USPS co-workers at Frontier Lanes. Bill is preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his children he loved very much, Tyler & Keriann Brady, brother Dennis (Marsha) Brady and sister Colleen (Brian) Redpath, nieces & nephews, Briana, Brent, William & Carley and special friend Kathy Kamppi. Everyone join the family for a reception at 11am in the Celebration of Life building at Mt. View Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 1:30pm, Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010. Elli Donner 1922 - 2010 Elli Donner passed away January 31, at the Franciscan Hospice Center. She was born in Bistritz, Romania to Victor and Frieda H ttl and was the youngest of three daughters. In 1945 Elli met Douglas, the love of her life, in Sch rding, Austria and they married there in 1947. Shortly thereafter, they sailed to America from Bremerhaven, Germany and made their home in Fife and later in Tacoma, Washington for 62 years. Elli had many interests, but her greatest was caring for and being with family. Elli enjoyed traveling, especially to Palm Springs, California, where she and Douglas wintered for 25 years. Gardening and cooking were also passions of Elli's. The family that Elli is leaving behind is her husband Douglas, daughter Alida, son Steve, daughter-in-law Sonia, and grandchildren Jonathan, Jessica, and Evan. The funeral service will be held in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home on Friday, February 5th, at 10:00 AM. Maude (Babe) Arlene Marsh Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother Maude "Babe" Marsh, age 89, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2010 at Allenmore Hospital in Tacoma, WA. Babe was born in Tacoma on November 20, 1920. She retired from Mary Bridge Hospital as the Executive Housekeeper and has been an active member of the National Association of Letter Carriers Auxiliary for more than 60 years. Babe was also a long-time member of the Free Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 54 years James, her son Bob, two brothers and one sister. She is survived by her three daughters, Cindy (Bob) Hughes, Deanna Marsh, Sandy (Jim) Young, and sister Alice. Grandma's memory will forever live in the hearts of her large extended family that includes numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as many dear friends. A celebration of Babe's life will be held on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the Valley Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. 253-584-0252.
