More than $23,000 raised at golf tournament
Posted on November 24, 2009On November 6th, America's Credit Union, a corporate member, hosted the 9th Annual Holiday Troop Support Golf Tournament at Eagles Pride Golf Course on Fort Lewis. 122 golfers and local business owners braved the weather to help raise funds for local soldiers and their families.
This year’s event raised over $23,000. The monies raised will be presented to The Food Basket, Santa's Castle, The Madigan Foundation and Reflection Park at a check presentation December 2. Special thanks to the following businesses who donated $500 or more in sponsorships: Albers & Co., America’s Credit Union, American Lake Credit Union, Amhearst Securities, Association of the United States Army, Boom Creative, Bruce Titus Automotive Group, RET MG Burger; on behalf of the Madigan Foundation, CarPros, Danard Electric, GEICO, Harborstone Credit Union, Lakewood Ford, McMullin Construction, Merit Construction, My Town Motors, Neely Construction & Cabinet Co., NW Motor Sports, Patriots Landing, Securities America, TriWest, Universal Refrigeration, Woodworth and Company and Zenczak & Partners.
