CPR and First Aid course information
Posted on November 12, 2009Lakewood Fire District 2 offers a Standard First Aid & CPR course on a continual basis. This course is held at Lakewood Fire District 2 Training Center located at 5000 Steilacoom Blvd SW.
Training information:
- One person adult, child and infant CPR with airway management, control of bleeding, splinting, bandaging, first aid for burns, sprains, strains, poison control, etc. This course meets Labor and Industries and Department of Social and Health Services Standards.
- This is an 8-hour class held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Pre-registration and pre-payment are required. Cost is $30.00 for non-residents. For persons residing within the boundaries of Lakewood Fire District 2, the course requires a $10.00 deposit (payable at Station 20 on Pacific Highway) which will be returned upon successful completion of the course.
- Cards are recognized for 2 years.
