Lakewood United upcoming schedule

The Lakewood United group meets at 7 AM every Thursday at Burs Restaurant, which is located at 6151 Steilacoom Boulevard SW in Lakewood. The events for the next four weeks are as follows:

• June 25, 2009 – Lakewood Community Foundation – David Betz (Robin Rego – MC)
• July 2, 2009 – No meeting due to upcoming holiday weekend – Happy Fourth of July
• July 9, 2009 – Lakewood City Council Candidates – Mary Moss (Position One), Darrel Shiley (Position One), Doug Richardson (Position Four) (Hugh Hedges – MC)

The dues for our next fiscal year, starting July 1, 2009 will be $20 per year which equates to less than 40 cents every Thursday. This is thanks to our volunteer board. Incidentally, our guest speakers only charge us the cost of a breakfast.

If you wish to make suggestions for future topics or speakers, please contact any of our board members, Sue Boguszewski, Hugh Hedges, John Huber, Kris Kauffman, Evelyn Kelly, Andrea Litton, Pamela Maddess, Mary Ann Miller, Kristi Roy, Mike Stevenson or Robin Rego.
