Goings accepted to WELA for two-year colleges
Posted on June 10, 2009Lakewood, WA - Amy Goings, Vice President for College Relations and Resource Development at Clover Park Technical College, has been accepted into the Washington Executive Leadership Academy (WELA) for two-year colleges.
WELA is the community and technical colleges’ effort to "build future higher education leaders – a succession plan specifically for Washington's community and technical colleges." Goings was nominated for the WELA program by CPTC president, Dr. John Walstrum.
As the Vice President for College Relations and Resource Development for the past five years, Goings has overseen the growth of the Foundation, rebranding of college marketing efforts, development of the college's five-year strategic plan, and growth in grants and special projects, including the college's Center for Business Development.
