Anyone who has driven by the corner of Main Street and Gravelly Lake Drive couldn't help but notice the slab of high-profile, undeveloped land at the corner of the Lakewood Towne Center development.

That site won't be grass for long. Carl's Junior has taken out a permit to build at the site, just yards away from the Red Robin that is set to open next month and across the parking lot from an Applebee's and two blocks away from the founding location of the Ram International chain.
