Idlewild to offer tuition-based full-day kindergarten
Posted on June 2, 2009Clover Park School District's (CPSD) Idlewild Elementary School will once again offer a tuition-based full-day kindergarten class. Tuition will start at $290 a month and will reduce on a sliding scale based on free and reduced lunch eligibility.
The full-day class is limited to 21 students—14 at full price, two at $240 a month and five at $190 a month. A second full-day class may be added if there is enough interest. There is also a $35 non-refundable registration fee for all registered students.
Registration is first open to students living within Idlewild’s boundaries. Those applicants living outside of Idlewild’s boundaries will be placed on a waiting list for the first of three lottery drawings on June 4 at 3 p.m.
Once a category has been filled, all other applicants within that category will be placed on a waiting list in order of completed applications. The waiting list will be maintained throughout the 2009-010 school year.
For more information about Idlewild’s full-day kindergarten program, contact the school at 583-5290.
