Letter: 'Your paper is kind of boring'

Why don't you have a letter to the editor section, there is a lot of unhappy ,unemployed over taxed, stuck in traffic ordinary Joe's out here , who needs to blow off some steam. I enjoyed the the Old Lakewood time , I only read it for the letters to the editor

Your paper is kind of boring, liven it up and get a lot more advertising , do a real service to the community and maybe make a few extra bucks

Editor's Note: Ivan. Thank you for your letter to the editor, which I have run in my Letters section, unedited. If you go to the website, www.thesubtimes.com, and place your cursor over Departments, a menu will drop down to reveal 'Letters' among other sections. Sorry to bore you. I'll start thinking on how I can provide a 'real service' to our communities.

We all take flak don't we Ben for what we thought was the good work we try to do. Keep it up. :)

My years in the publishing business have thickened my skin quite a bit. That said, thank you for the kind words David.

I told you to include more suggestive photos of yourself ...

    Dear Mr. Prunty,
If you're looking to blow off steam, there are plenty of blogs and other online resources where I'm certain you'll meet many like-minded people. In the meantime, obviously you have some time on your hands in your retirement. Perhaps you might spend some of it taking an adult education class or two - say, in writing? Literacy is highly underrated.

I completely disagree!!! I appreciate the local feel of this paper and how you help out the community and schools! You are highly appreciated! And there is enough drama on TV and all the news channels as it is. Please don't add it here! Keep up the good work and thank you very much for helping to support our community!!! You are appreciated!

E: I am trying to attract readers, not send them away. ;-)

Some readers have already resigned themselves to the fact they will not be attracted. I am retired also and words "boring, bored, bore" is not in my dictionary. Life is what you make it with the choices you choose to make for yourself.
