Board selects Wagemann to fill Director District 5 vacancy

In their March 23 meeting, Clover Park School District's Board of Directors selected John "Paul" Wagemann to fill the Director District 5 vacancy. Wagemann is a retired U.S. Marine Corps officer, serving from 1968 to 1991. He is currently a real estate investor and has a Bachelor of Science in aeronautics and astronautics from the University of Washington. Wagemann and his wife Linda have lived in Lakewood since 1991. They have two children, who have graduated from Clover Park schools.

Wagemann will take the oath of office at the Monday, April 13 school board meeting. The board vacancy was created by the resignation of Elli Falk, whose resignation was effective Feb. 11, 2009.

Wagemann will serve until the next regular school district election in November, at which time a successor shall be elected to fill the Director District 5 unexpired term that runs through 2011.
