Welcome to The Suburban Times
Posted on July 6, 2005This publication is dedicated to two things: people and business. The relationship is so foundational that neither can exist without the other.
The Suburban Times covers Dupont, Fircrest, Lakewood, Steilacoom and University Place. We'll write about the people and businesses that make up our communities.
Our mission in simple: To inform.
Information will take on many roles. It includes:
- area school sports scores and pictures,
- community service opportunities,
- sale specials at our local businesses,
- community events,
- crime reporting/informing,
- turning the spotlight on our citizens,
- City Council happenings and planning,
- business development opportunities,
- announcements (birth, death, marriage, etc.)
- classifieds
- real estate listings
- and more, to be determined in large part by you, our readers.
