1,255 books for Read Across America

Caring for Kids distributed 1,255 books to ECEAP/Headstart and low income kindergarteners in celebration of Read Across America. The books were beautiful hard back Disney books valued at $15 each. Luckily Caring for Kids applied this year for the First Book National Distribution and received the books for $ .45 each. The work is labor intensive for an all volunteer organizations but the smiles on the faces of the kids are worth their weight in gold. Caring for Kids is making a difference.
